....So it's the system that is flawed, not me.

Uh-huh. That is very telling.

Re: Job Placement Personality tests...

Spooky is right. A company has the right to set standards for their employees and a toxic personality is not something an employer can afford to put up with. All personality tests are based on the Minnesota Multiple Personality Indicator. This test has been around for ages and is used in all forms o...

Re: Salem witch trials hanging spot found.

If you go to Salem today, you see witch related stuff all over the place. Yet the people who were accused and wrongly convicted and then executed were not witches. It seems a rather tragic irony that they celebrate 19 executions of innocent people and actively promote the witch thematic vision of th...

Re: Whatcha eatin' right now?

I love fondue and haven't had it in years. There was a real good Fondue restaurant we use to eat at in Tampa. Good stuff. I need to ask Murph about a place near her in Franklin, Tennessee, called 55 South. It was on Diners, Drive-Inns and Dives, and it had some serious good looking food! Yes I do wa...

Re: Whatcha eatin' right now?

Well the venison chili was successful. You can hardly taste the venison! It just tastes like chili to me. Still haven't made the roast yet, but I'm not planning on it probably until after Christmas. I think with a little online research I've come up with some good ideas for that roast...proba...

Re: Whatcha eatin' right now?

As a general rule venison is much leaner than most meat. As Murph said, you sometimes kill one as they're running and their adrenal glands flood the muscle tissue and can affect the overall taste of the meat. With chili you either ground it up or use chunks as the meat. Whether its chili or a roast ...

Re: HIPPIELUVN'S CHRISTMAS QUEST 2015

CB Christmas is a great show and we watch it every year. The stop motion animation movie of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer from 1964, with Burl Ives as the Snowman is also a must see for all ages!

Re: Seizures Greetings!

When I was a kid, my parents drove me nuts(more so than usual)during Christmas. One big problem was their refusal to buy new tree lights after two or three seasons. They would sit on the floor and check every single @#$^% socket on the string to find the one one cent bulb that was burned out and aff...

Re: HIPPIELUVN'S CHRISTMAS QUEST 2015

Yes, you are right. It's in the scene with the Cratchetts. Bob has returned from church with Tiny Tim, and he repeats to his wife what Tim had said, about how it might be pleasant for others to see him on Christmas Day and reflect on the One who made lame men walk and blind men see. True, a referen...
