I've planned my costume out for 6 months. I'm going to be Conan O'Brian... hehe I have the red hair already, I just need a pair of reallllllly high heels and a suit. lol

Are you familiar with the musical play Wicked? Elphaba is the lead character. The story is a "prequel" to The Wizard of Oz. It tells how the Wicked Witch of the West became the Wicked Witch of the West. The novelist on whose book the musical is based named the character Elphaba. He used the initials of L. Frank Baum, who wrote the Oz books, to come up with that name.
Elphaba in the play is a very bright girl who is shunned because of her weird green skin. She isn't really wicked, but eventually lives up to that role because it is thrust upon her by others. The true villain is The Wizard of Oz, who turns out to be her father.
My daughter and I traveled to Memphis last October during her fall break to see the musical when it was playing there. I had it fresh in my mind when I costumed last year.
The songs "Defying Gravity" and "For Good" are both from Wicked.

I just love Conan O' Brian.... and I have red hair and pale skin so yeah. lol. I like scary Halloween parties, but funny quirky costumes that I can basically make without much work. I was Beetlejuice one Halloween and I don't think I'll ever top it... I hand striped my suit. ...
and I just realized I dress as a boy often for this holiday. lmao

Pretty much ruined every other costume I could have...my kids always want me to be Batman....
The cowl is cool looking I must say but it gets hot in there...

Funny thing when I asked my crazy stepbrother to see what he is going to be dressed up for Halloween? He still doesn't know, and he has to wait for the voice in his head!
