These are wooden tombstones that I made a very few years ago... They're awesome! I made that coffin lid with black cross and a black spider web shown below on the coffin lid. Looks great! There, that's my beautiful white casket with large black cross attached inside! MORE PICS COMING REAL SOON!

Yes, I made the casket myself - But my grandpa did some cut from the wood boards, you know, he doesn't want see me cut off my fingers by any types of saws! You will never know if I will get accidently cut myself with any sharp tools, so I don't want to get hurt so badly!

Here's my ghastly skeleton! He's my best buddy for many years! Well, I am going to post a pic of my own Grim Reaper prop here next. I'm working on it now.

There is Grim Reaper! I bought it from Party City last year. I believe they got few Grim Reaper props... And also, here's the pic of skull ax blade and catacombs wooden bat! I ordered both online about 3 years ago from Alarming Products. So, I will post a witch prop here next!

I don't understand. How is a cross Halloween related?

Even, some crosses can be made for tombstone designs. I will post some pics here later on. So, does anyone know anything about crosses? Are they Halloween/Horror related things, aren't they??

I have not seen a lot of horror movies but I have seen some. But I do not see how they are scary or whatever. Isn't the cross about Jesus Christ?

Good question. Cross is Jesus Chris when he died on the cross more than 2,000 years ago... And also, I really can't answer why some creepy crosses are great for all Halloween/Horror ideas! Even, some people are using the crosses to protect themselves from vampires and werewolves too! Didn't you know that?? I know it's only a myth.

Rising Dead Man, it's not just a cross sitting there that's scary. It's the association with either cemeteries or vampires that's scary.
For example, Grim has a cross in bold black on a white coffin. It adds realism to have the cross there and it also stands out and looks very dramatic...and if there's anything Halloween is, it's dramatic.
Many mythical monsters throughout Christian history have "hated" crosses and that's why the cross association...many Europeans have believed that "monsters" are anti-Christian, from the devil, etc., etc. And a crumbling-down cross in a cemetery brings to mind the grave marker being very, very old and perhaps a spirit just waiting through the centuries to come back to life, etc....There is also the psychology in the predominantly Christian mind (the U.S. currently is above 75% Christian; Europe I believe is 79% Christian) that a decaying, decrepit or scared-Jesus-looking cross or crucifix symbolizes that "evil" is winning and "good" (Christianity) is losing, obviously a very scary thing in the Christian mindset.
Do you really not find the association creepy? I'm not Christian and even I find it creepy.
