I have the day off and it happens to be the day of the consumer preview release of Windows 8 so I'm sitting here trying to figure it out. Typing this on IE10, in fact. Though I guess if you have a Windows phone it won't be that much different.
If you're not technically challenged, and you want to take a look at this, go to Gizmodo. I would not under any circumstance install it on your primary machine unless you're comfortable with dual booting. It is an early release after all._________________

I have win XP Pro still on my pc, i dont see me grading until i absolutely have to

Only problem with sticking with XP is that Microsoft is about to stop supporting it. As long as enough people are still using it the hackers will keep looking for security holes and MS will no longer be plugging them. The only safe options after that are to upgrade or disconnect from the internet.
Good news is, with 8 about to come out people should be able to upgrade to 7 cheap. And Windows 7 seems to be as stable, or more so, than XP. Also, it's not as big a leap in user experience from XP as 8 will be from 7.
Also, make sure you blow the dust out of your computer. That's what caused my old one to burn up.

I bought win vista a while back and never installed it, so I have that to fall back on if need be.
