It's a lot of work IF you do it all at once. I had to re-do a few doors, because I started out by covering them differently. But this technique is 1,000 x better. Cleaner, more professional looking, and the best part... Reversable.

But it did take a few hours to complete. It was fun to do a few doors at a time. The kitchen had this split personality going that made it feel weird.

Not much difference when considering some alternative prop building. Some can take weeks. But for a party, this is a good alternative.

Sorry to Double-post, but I saw this stone textured wallpaper at Oriental Trading Co.
and I thought this might be a cool alternative to cover cabinet doors (to look like stone masonry.)

There's also a wood paneling style.

And this scary graveyard style.

I put plastic on one of my walls (used 2 pkg. of plastic table cloth from the dollar store).
I'll be sure to share pics.
