I am right there with you! I cannot wait for the leaves to change and the smell of burning wood on the weekends. It has been so hot and humid here. I'm tired of this weather!

I wish summer would never end! I am dreading school!

I do love summer, but just getting tired of too HOT!!! I have to keep my body in the cold water! Really can't wait until it turns cooler in November!! October is OK because the temperature will be around 75-80 degree.

Long time all! I've been taking care of a fiend who just had both knees replaced (I'll post a photo later, the scarring is very Frankenstein!). I was done with summer on the 5th of July Here's a little something to make y'all jelous: it was 58 degrees with a chilly wind in the mountains yesterday, with fast moving sparse clouds...very Autumn. Today is about the same but I'm stuk in the ofice at work so I can't enjoy, but I am wearing a nice deep red sweater and it makes me feel a little better.

WELCOME! WELCOME! WELCOME BACK, ANDY!!! You haven't been around here and didn't post here since almost one week!! WOW!!! I hope you will keep up this board until Halloween! And, hopefully your friend is doing much better! Also, your lucky that you have cold air up there, not here where I live in the longest hot weather! Again, welcome back, man!

Ha! He waddles a lot but is beginning to walk much better. I am pretty lucky to live along the coast (thanks to said friend and his wife) and at the end of a hot summer day it's nifty to know that (often) when I get over the pass to the other side I can put on sweat pants and pretend it's fall. The only bummer is that it's just as dry over there so no fires in the living room

I am sick of sweating like hell but I love summer! (Because there is no school) I wish something would happen so school would be canceled. (Not sure if canceled is spelled right.) Then I could enjoy fall and Halloween with no school! I am scared to death of my first year of high school.

Everyone is scared of their first year of High School so you are not alone Just keep telling yourself that before you know it you will be out and off to college or a job. Trust me; before you know it you will be 2 decades beyond your senior year saying to yourself "how did that happen?!"

Will others pick on me? Think I'm a freak? They have in another school. That may not happen this year but I might still be nobody. NO BODY!

RDM, Please don't be afraid of going back to school! Be a man, and be brave! Just ignore all bullies and pranksters!!! Same thing happened to me before when I was 15, I used to be afraid of going back to school because of some bullies! One year later, I decided to be brave myself... I worked hard, I played some, even I fought them off for good! The next year after, some bullies get expelled from school and some of them were scared of me, so they transferred to other schools! No more bullies until I graduated in high school!

Expelled huh? They must have been very cruel bullies!

It was 104 here yesterday. I can't get into my Halloween mode to the full extent when it's that hot. I'm just ready for summer to be over. I've been ready.

104?!?...UGH!
It happened again last night. I got home at 6:30 and (no kidding) while I was unpacking the car te fog literally rushed up the valley from the ocean like a freight train.
It's like the fog from 'The Fog' movie. It hauls a** so quickly that it blots out the sun in juat a few minutes.
