My family has kept the Halloween Tree tradition for about 3 years now. In the past I made the tree by cementing tree branches into a ceramic pot. This year I'm going with this one. Cover with snakes bugs and ghouls and the Halloween tree is ready for little goblin gifts. The question is whether to open presents on All Hallows Eve or All Hallows Morning.

Here's another.

File comment: My son likes to sit and play with the ornaments while watching movies.

It does look great, but I think I'm going to keep my tree for Christmas. I mean, I've seen Easter trees, too. I guess a person could make them for every holiday. But I'm afraid that if I were to do that, it wouldn't seem so special for Christmas anymore.
My jack-o-lanterns are my Halloween symbol. I like it that way.

The tree gives us somewhere to put some of our smaller decorations. I also like adding to the ornaments every year. Same for our Christmas tree. Here are some newer pics with ornaments. I drilled holes in a few plastic skulls and eyeballs from last year and fitted them over some of the lights. The skull topper is the same story. I love the way it turned out. Everything on the tree was salvaged from previous Halloweens. Seems fitting.

BTB- Since those pics were taken my son accidentally knocked it over. But not to worry he happily helped pick up the pieces and now she looks better than ever.

It's always better the second time around. He was very cute as he helped pick up the spiders and such. He'd hand his mom an ornament and say "Der. I got it." The best was when he started chasing his mom around with the tiny rubber snakes. She made a big show of acting scared. He loved it. Belly laughs all around. I love this holiday!

Hi, everyone!
I'm new to this site -- this is my first time posting. Halloween has been my favorite holiday for over 20 years. Loved it as a kid, as all kids do, but then developed a true love for it when I was 25.
Yes, I do have a Halloween tree. It's not very big -- it's one of those 4-ft tall skinny pine trees (I think it's called an Adirondak pine). I keep this tree up all year long, on the floor on the left side of my fireplace, & change the decorations to suit the season or holiday. I also have a another small tabletop-sized Christmas tree sitting on my bar that I have decorated for Halloween, as well as two grapevine trees on top of my china hutch. Oh, I also have two tiny black Christmas trees sitting in another spot on my china hutch.

I had considered leaving my Halloween tree up when we put up the Christmas tree this year, but I may have to steal your idea.
