Re: Christmas During Covid 19

That's a great star Mike, it's very traditional. This has certainly been a interesting year, the extended family had to miss most of the special occasions they usually attend. This was the quietest Thanksgiving we have ever had, and we expect Christmas to be the same as there won't be any Aunts, Unc...

That's not only mean, that's disgusting. It makes you wonder what is wrong with some people.

Re: The worst non candy item?

Yes, that's one way to look at it. Actually, I think historically that is the original meaning of the term trick-or-treat, you are asking the person for either a trick, or for a treat. Though when we were growing up it had a different meaning, when we said trick-or-treat we were giving the person a ...

Re: My yard this year

Where did you get the Fiat?! I got it way back in 2001 from a junkyard, the guy just wanted to get rid of it so he said I could have it for 50 bucks if I haul it away myself. I couldn't say no to that deal, but at the time I got it I didn't even know what to do with it, so it sat in my brothers gar...

Re: Halloween toys

Other than some Halloween beanie babies, I don't think I have ever gotten Halloween toys for my kids. What a fun idea to collect them! Yeah, my girls have a few of the Halloween Beanie Babies as well. I think collecting with your kids makes it more fun, my favorite thing about it is watching their ...

My yard this year

This is what our yard looks like this year. My neighbor always lets us use their lawn as well, so there is more space to decorate with. It looks better at night, as I usually have a fire and lights going and we use a special light to make the neon paint glow. We always have someone sitting in the ch...

The worst non candy item?

What is the worst non candy item you ever got when you went trick-or-treating? As for myself, I can think of a few things in particular. This one year someone gave us ketchup packs from McDonalds, another year someone gave us old batteries, and another year someone put sponges in our bags, yes, spon...

That looks great, if you're a old school NES fan it really brings you back. It must have taken awhile to build the full sized system, what did you do with it after?

Re: Halloween toys

I actually have some of those old monster models from the 60's and 70's. I got a few of them from my uncle, and others I got over the years online. They can go for big bucks now, I hope the kid you gave them to appreciated them.

Re: Halloween Tattoos

I don't have any myself, but I know people that do, and I've seen some amazing stuff online. I remember one in particular a woman had on her chest area, it was a zombie girl standing with some tombstones and Jack O' Lanterns. It was just awesome to me.

I've seen this before, I got some good laughs from it. I think it's too bad they don't do stuff like this these days, or if they do, it isn't any good.

Re: Ranking Every Family Friendly Halloween Movie

That's a great list with some classics in there, and I appreciate that you included age guidelines for it. I'm not sure I'd rank them the same way, I agree that Beetlejuice is a better movie, but I think Hocus Pocus should top the list since it actually takes place on Halloween, and it's a movie any...
